SREC is a member-owned not-for-profit cooperative. As such, we allocate margins or profit to our member-owners in the form of capital credits. The SREC Board may authorize the retirement of capital credits when the Cooperative is in the financial position to do so.
Please keep SREC informed of any address changes so that future capital credit checks can be delivered to you.
Below is a list of SREC Unclaimed Capital Credits. These are capital credits that have been previously retired, but SREC is unable to locate the proper owner. If you know someone on this list, have them or their heirs notify SREC with their current address and information.
Additional information concerning capital credits can be obtained by any person possessing an interest in the property by addressing an inquiry to Salmon River Electric Cooperative. Unclaimed capital credits are in the custody of Salmon River Electric Cooperative and all claims must be directed to Salmon River Electric Cooperative.
